Marquez finish terdepan mengalahkan Dani Pedrosa yang menempati posisi ke-2 dan Valentino Rossi di posisi ke-3. Kemenangan pembalap bernomor start 93 ini juga meneruskan tren kemenangan Honda di sirkuit yang punya 10 tikungan ke kiri dan 3 tikungan ke kanan ini. Wajar Marc Marquez dominasi rece MotoGP Sachsenring. Sebab, semenjak latihan bebas dan babak kualifikasi Marquez sudah tampil begitu meyakinkan.
